Retreat in silence ( sesshin ) from thursday the 6th of september (7pm ) to sunday the 9th of september
A retreat period in complete silence will take place in September at the Zen monastery Ryumonji (Alsace, France)
For 3 days you can seek peace of mind in the best conditions and learn or deepen your practice of Zen meditation (zazen). Beginners welcome.
The practice of silence is common to all spiritual traditions. A retreat in silence makes it possible to calm the inner monlogue and allows the mind to become peaceful. To practice in complete silence – in meditation of course, but also during meals, breaks and collective work – gives everyone the possibility of attaining a greater concentration.
During this retreat beginners will receive special instructions and explanations. They will also be personally coached during the 3 days.
Teachings will be given by Buddhist Master Olivier Reigen Wang-Genh.
