Master Olivier Reigen Wang-Genh teaches during each of these retreats. It is possible to ask questions privately - dokusan - or publicly in the dojo during zazen - mondô.
Arrival is on the evening prior to the first day indicated - a meal will be served at 8:30pm. Departure the last day after lunch.
CALENDAR 2024
Stay in the temple - GYOJI-Retreats
Come for a period of two days to several weeks to participate in daily life in a Zen monastery.
Arrival is on Monday evening for those who have never practised in the temple before. There will then be an introductory session.

IMPORTANT: You can also plan to stay at the temple outside of the calendar events. This is called a GYOJI Zen retreat or daily life. You will then participate in the daily life of the nuns and monks, with zazen (meditation) in the morning and evening, meals in silence and the practice of samu, service to the community. The dates of the GYOJI periods can be found below.
All year round and at all retreat times: Beginners are welcome with a special welcome for them.

** The Community of Communes of Hanau La Petite Pierre has introduced a tourist tax on the territory to contribute to the development of tourism activities. This tourist tax is applicable from May 1st 2022 at a rate of 80 cents per person per night (to pay in addition to the sesshin).
The prices listed above are valid from January 1st, 2024 and are subject to change.
Additional rates apply to certain sesshin, for example those attended by Saikawa Roshi. Please confirm the cost of the sesshin with the secretary.
Long-term retreatants can take part in the "creativity" activities for an additional fee.
*** The price indicated for the "family" sesshin is for parents.
- Children over 15 years : 90 euros / 79 euros
- Children from 3 to 15 years : 48 euros / 37 euros
- Under 3 years : free (children must remain under the supervision of a parent).

This price includes tuition, accommodation and meals.
- Association membership : 15 euros per year - membership is required to partake in temple activities.
The information transmitted during registration are strictly confidential and intended only for those responsible for the association, any disclosure to third parties is excluded. Members may request at any time, in writing, the deletion of this data.
- Between two and three weeks, any extra days will be charged at €20/€15
- Between three and four weeks, any extra days will be billed at €16/€12.5
- After four weeks, any extra days will be charged at €14/€10.
If sesshin included in stays of less than three weeks, it is to be paid separately or as a supplement.
