The passing of the nun Helen Reigetsu Godart

We are very sad to share with you the news of the death of nun Helen Reigetsu Godart. She passed away suddenly in her sleep on Thursday night, with no warning of any illness. She had practised at Ryumonji for many years, and we remember her whole, often tender personality, and her deep commitment to the Buddha Way. At the remembrance ceremony dedicated to her, we sang the Daihi Shin Dharani, a sutra she loved very much and intoned with all her heart. The roads had separated us, but she will remain close to us, very close...
