Prune, Koume and Kotake, the hens of the temple
For a few years now, we have had a henhouse at the temple.
A few months ago, Prune found herself alone following Claire's disappearance. In mid-August, Koume and Kotake, naked neck hens, came to keep her company. They are now about 8 months old.
Naked-necked chickens come from Transylvania, Romania and have the particularity of not having feathers on their necks. They are larger than some species. Their crests grow a lot. They are very active, talkative, they like to communicate, perch on their shoulders, climb and run. They are dynamic and lay eggs even in winter!
